Overview
The Qualified 401(k) Specialist (QKS) credential program equips retirement plan professionals with essential knowledge and skills for managing and selling defined contribution (DC) plans.

Who It’s For
Designed for salespeople, wholesalers, client relationship managers, and similar client-facing professionals in the retirement plan industry.

What It Takes

• Complete the Retirement Plan Fundamentals certificate or have three years of experience, pass the QKS final exam, and apply for the credential.
• Before enrolling in any ASPPA Training, please consult with your manager to discuss the time requirements, commitment involved, and the business need. This will ensure you have the necessary time and commitment to complete the course prior to enrolling.
• Access to the course and exam will be available for 180 days from the initial date of purchase.
• If you are unable to complete the course and exam in the allotted time, a one-time extension may be available under limited circumstances. Contact CE_Working_Group@capgroup.com for more information.

Registration

• Click on the “Register for QKS Package” button.
• By using the registration button on the left, CG will be billed directly for the cost of your enrollment materials and exam.

Content
The QKS program includes 14 online modules, a practice exam, and a final proctored exam.

Exam Information
The QKS exam is delivered using a proctored online examination system. The exam consists of 75 multiple-choice questions. Candidates have 2½ hours to complete the exam.
